AORTIC North America (formerly known as AORTIC International) is non-governmental and not-for-profit organization that was founded by North America based expatriate African cancer care workers, scientists and their friends. It is committed to the development of the African Organization for Research and Training in Cancer (AORTIC), which is based in Africa.  AORTIC is a bilingual (English/French) which was founded in 1982 and inaugurated in Lome, Republic of Togo, West Africa in 1983. It is dedicated to the promotion of cancer control in Africa.
